Giordano Lombardo is one of the rare few Biodynamic producers in Gavi in Italian region of Piedmont. The nose is wide, delicate, and elegant, yet intense. Traces of fresh hay and acacia flowers and a light minerality. The palate is harmonic, fresh, and supple with a long and palatable finish.
Intense ruby. Elegant, fresh nose, finely balanced, redolent of violets. Palate is remarkably balanced as well: intense fruit (figs) in an excellent mineral/tannic frame. Lovely freshness and the flavours continue on the finish. Still has years of great life ahead.
