About Akita Shurui Seizoh
Akita Shurui Seizoh was formed in 1944 when twelve breweries in Akita City came together. It is the brewery behind Takashimizu and Shimizu-no-Mai sake. It works with Akita-grown rice from contract farmers, polishes rice in-house and brews with soft local water.
