A Pinot Noir-led Champagne with yellow apple, Williams pear and citrus over fine stony notes. The palate has real breadth and structure, but freshness and a precise mineral line keep it elegant. Dry, persistent and lightly grippy on the finish, it is a serious table Champagne for roast poultry, richer seafood or firm, nutty cheese.

About Serge Mathieu
The Mathieu family has lived in Avirey-Lingey since at least the 18th century. They go to great lengths to harvest grapes at optimum ripeness.
In the winery they try to obtain as much personality and flavour from these grapes, which involves a light hand in vinification and careful thinking.
What results are showstopping authentic champagnes that are true expressions of what the region is renowned for.
