Plum, leather and tobacco lead into ripe berry fruit, dark chocolate and caramel. This Okanagan Bordeaux blend combines a dense, firmly structured palate with an elegant feel. Estate-grown fruit was matured for 21 months in French oak, followed by two years in bottle before release, bringing depth and a composed finish.

About Poplar Grove Winery
Founded in 1993, Poplar Grove was one of the first five wineries established on the Naramata Bench. Merlot and Cabernet Franc formed the first plantings, and the 1995 debut vintage amounted to just 150 cases. Tony and Barb Holler purchased the winery in 2007; today their four sons share responsibilities across the vineyards and business.
The family farms vineyards on the Naramata and Skaha benches and around Osoyoos, matching varieties to different sites. Its Middle Bench winery opened in 2011.
