A bright and lifted Grenache with fresh strawberry and red cherry joined by crushed rose petal and a dusting of white pepper. The palate is rounded and buoyant, its juicy red fruit held in shape by lively acidity and soft, sandy tannins. Light enough to serve slightly chilled yet full of detail, it suits charcuterie, mild cheese, grilled vegetables or simply seasoned poultry.

About Paxton
David Paxton founded his family-owned grape-growing business in McLaren Vale in 1979 and began making wine in 1998. All the fruit comes from estate vineyards, including Thomas Block, where the oldest Shiraz vines were planted in 1887. Since 2005, visitors have been welcomed at the restored nineteenth-century Landcross Farm.
The estate gained organic and biodynamic certification in 2011. In the vineyards, the team uses compost preparations and avoids synthetic fertilizers and pesticides; in the cellar, it takes a minimal-intervention approach.
