About Domaine Ostertag
Domaine Ostertag began estate bottling at Epfig in 1966, when Adolphe Ostertag turned the family’s mixed farm towards winegrowing. André succeeded him in 1980, and Arthur Ostertag took the reins in 2018 to carry the domaine into its third generation. The vineyards extend from Epfig to Nothalten and Ribeauvillé.
Biodynamic methods have guided vineyard work since the late 1990s, and the estate is now certified organic. In the cellar, stainless steel and oak are used according to the vineyard and grape variety.
