Stewed apple, apricot and floral honey open with roasted nuts and light toffee. The palate is rounded and easy-going, bringing orchard fruit and vanilla custard into balance with baking spice and a quiet malty note. Gentle sweetness is checked by drying oak and a faint trace of smoke. The finish is soft and composed, leaving apple, honey, nuts and warm spice.
