Chateau Feret-Lambert is a small family estate of 11 hectares located just south of Saint-Emilion. The property has been in the Féret family for 4 generations. The vineyards are planted in soils consisting mainly of clay and limestone on mineral rich, fossilised limestone bedrock. A careful manual harvest and grape selection are major quality factors in crafting this elegant Bordeaux.

Chateau Peyrabon Haut Medoc 2019
$45.99
60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot, 5% Cab Franc, 4% Petit Verdot
91 points Decanter: “A touch of exotic spice, sweet cinnamon, white pepper, raisins, dried fruit and red cherries. This has a lovely, dense and chewy texture with bright red fruit flavours such as raspberries, strawberries and red cherries. Fruit-forward and confident. Acidity keeps things lifted and fresh, and this has an appealing brightness, even a touch too bright at this point - the acidity and fruit need more time to integrate.”

89-91 Pts, Robert Parker: Composed of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc, the deep garnet-purple colored 2018 Cuvée Compostelle gives up stewed plums, baked black cherries and spice box notes with chocolate and tilled soil hints. The palate is full and packed with black fruits, with a plush texture and spicy finish.
Reverdito Barolo Ascheri 2016
$129.99
Vineyard: La Morra
Production: 4,000 bottles
Soil: Marl
Barolo produced here is best described as “warm-hearted”. Michele’s Barolo Ascheri comes from the classic chalky soils of La Morra about 250 meters up the steep hillside, inter-planted with several types of grasses and beans to aid biodiversity and soil structure. The resulting wine has an enticing nose of flowers, ripe strawberries and dark cherries, and a good mouthful of plummy ripe elegant fruit. This deceptively mid-weight Barolo has a ton to offer.
