Cherries and sweet dark fruit meet dried spice, walnut and a smoky, savoury edge. This Vintage Port has a generous, rounded palate, with concentrated fruit and a firm thread of tannin beneath its richness. The spice and nutty notes bring another dimension to the sweetness, carrying through a long finish.

About Cockburn's
Cockburn’s was founded in Porto in 1815 by Scottish brothers Robert and John Cockburn, who bought grapes directly from growers in the Douro. The house expanded into the Douro Superior, where Quinta dos Canais became central to its vineyards and its work with Touriga Nacional. Special Reserve followed in 1969, developed as a style between ruby and vintage Port.
The Symington family bought the house in 2010 and renewed its vineyard and cellar work. At the Gaia cellars across the river from Porto, Port matures in seasoned oak tended by the house’s own coopers.
