Blackberry, graphite and cedar give this Pauillac a classic, finely drawn character. Its medium-bodied palate combines silky tannins with fresh acidity and a long, persistent finish. Cabernet Sauvignon leads the blend, joined by Merlot and a little Petit Verdot, for a structured Lafite with poise and depth.

About Château Lafite Rothschild
Château Lafite Rothschild was documented as a wine-producing property by 1234 and was ranked a First Growth in the 1855 Bordeaux classification. Baron James de Rothschild acquired the Pauillac estate in 1868, beginning more than 150 years of stewardship by successive family generations. Saskia de Rothschild became chairwoman of Domaines Barons de Rothschild in 2018, representing the sixth generation. The vineyard’s gravel and clay regulate water around a subtle rise known historically as La Hite, while the grand vin is matured in French oak made by the group’s own Pauillac cooperage.
