Bright cherry, raspberry and toasty oak sit beside dark cherry, vanilla bean, earth and warm spice. Baked strawberry, charred game, sage and thyme appear in the aromatics. The palate carries integrated tannins and a long finish. Pinot Noir from California’s Central Coast forms this medium-bodied red, with thirteen-and-a-half percent alcohol. Roasted vegetables, mushrooms, turkey or duck suit its combination of fruit, earth and oak.

About Josh Cellars
Joseph Carr created Josh Cellars in 2007 as a tribute to his father, Josh, a lumberjack, United States Army veteran and volunteer firefighter. Wayne Donaldson assumed winemaking in 2009, helping the original Cabernet Sauvignon grow into a wide California portfolio. Core varietal wines draw from several California regions, while the Reserve collection narrows its focus to named areas such as the North Coast and Paso Robles.
