Pale gold with soft green reflections, this Chardonnay has apricot, lemon, light smoke and floral notes. The mouth is precise and salivating, with clear mineral structure, concentration and length. Fruit comes from vines more than forty years old on a south-facing slope with Kimmeridgian limestone. Fermentation and malolactic conversion are followed by lees ageing in stainless-steel tanks.
