The palate is dense and medium- to full-bodied, with fine-grained tannins, fresh mineral tension and a clear core of dark fruit. Forest floor, liquorice and tobacco bring savoury depth without dulling the finish. Decant carefully and serve with roast beef, lamb, venison or firm aged cheese.
