Esporão 2024 Pé Branco Alentejo

$19.99

Lemon and other citrus aromas accompany light fruit and a balanced line of acidity. Antão Vaz, Perrum and Arinto form this dry, medium-bodied white from Alentejo. Fermentation and ageing take place in stainless-steel tanks under controlled temperatures. Alcohol is 12.5 percent, and the bottle is closed with a screwcap. Fruit is selected from both estate and contracted vineyards to maintain consistent quality.

About Esporão
Herdade do Esporão's recorded boundaries date to 1267. José Roquette and Joaquim Bandeira bought the Alentejo property in 1973, and their first wine under the Esporão name came from the 1985 harvest. Esporão farms its Alentejo vineyards organically, in a region of hot, dry summers and varied soils. A ten-hectare research vineyard planted with 189 grape varieties helps the team study biodiversity and adaptation.
