Jura 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Sweet citrus and malt open a gentle island profile, joined by light floral notes, vanilla and a restrained coastal edge. Ten years in American white-oak ex-bourbon barrels give the palate a smooth cereal core, while an Oloroso-sherry finish adds rounded fruit and quiet spice. The texture remains light and approachable, with soft oak supporting rather than dominating the malt. A mild, balanced finish leaves vanilla, citrus, gentle spice and a faint maritime note behind.

About Isle of Jura Distillery
Jura’s island distillery was established in 1810, closed in 1901 and returned to production after a rebuild in 1963. The beachside distillery draws its water from Market Loch and uses exceptionally tall stills. For its Seven Wood bottling, whisky starts in ex-bourbon casks before being divided among six types of French-oak cask.
