Deep ruby colour accompanies fresh red-fruit notes of blueberry, raspberry and cherry. The body is balanced, elegant and richly fruited, while present but melted tannins give the wine good length. The blend is 72 percent Cabernet Sauvignon and 28 percent Merlot. This classified-growth red comes from Pauillac, where the estate’s gravel soils are planted mainly to Cabernet Sauvignon.
