Locke’s 8 Year Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey

Rich fruit and barley malt lead the aroma, with seasoned oak and a quiet floral lift. The palate is full-bodied and gently mineral, bringing cereal sweetness, mixed citrus peel and soft malt into a rounded texture. Oak gives the middle measured structure without obscuring the grain. The finish is steady and warming, returning to malt, fruit and restrained wood spice.

About Cooley Distillery
Cooley Distillery began in 1987, when an industrial alcohol plant on Ireland’s Cooley Peninsula was converted to whiskey production. Its malt whiskey is distilled twice, and the smoky Connemara single malt is one of its distinctive styles. The distillery’s history also includes Greenore single grain, Locke’s malt and the Inishowen blend.
