Dark and firmly smoky, this bottom-fermented lager draws its distinctive savoury character from malt dried over an open beechwood fire. Beneath the smoke sits a steady malt core with enough bitterness to keep the palate balanced and refreshing. Serve well chilled with grilled sausages, smoked ham, roast pork, sharp mustard or aged cheese. The smoke becomes more integrated as the glass opens.
