Canadian malt provides the frame for Riwaka and Rakau hops from New Zealand. Citrus and grapefruit arrive first, followed by an antipodean turn toward mango and passion fruit. The result keeps the familiar shape of a classic American pale ale while giving its hop profile a distinctly non-American accent. Serve cold with burgers, grilled chicken, fish tacos, aged cheddar or spicy noodles.
