Mango, guava and passionfruit fill the aroma with ripe tropical intensity. A bright sour edge gives the fruit definition, while lactose rounds the palate into a soft, creamy texture without losing freshness. About Parallel 49 Brewing Company
Parallel 49 Brewing Company began in East Vancouver in 2012, when longtime friends Anthony Frustagli, Nick Paladino and Mike Sleeman left other careers to open a brewery. Homebrewer Graham With supplied technical leadership, while Michael Tod and Scott Venema completed the six-person founding team.
The brewery draws on Pacific Northwest beer styles and uses local and regional ingredients. Spent grain goes to Fraser Valley livestock, and the brewery switched to recycled six-pack cartons in 2019.
