Plum and ripe strawberry meet liquorice, cocoa and a subtle leafy note on a dark, focused nose. The palate is full and lightly sweet, with juicy fruit, firm tannins and a chewy, solid frame. Spice builds through the mid-palate before a long, structured finish. Decant carefully and serve with blue cheese or dark chocolate.

About Gould Campbell
Gould Campbell began in Porto in 1797, when Irish merchant Garret Gould established Gould Brothers and Company as a Port shipper. James Campbell became a partner after the Peninsular War, giving the firm the name it still carries.
The house never owned vineyards in the Douro, relying instead on long relationships with growers, especially in the Pinhão and Rio Torto valleys. It blends Ports in a rich, full-bodied style.
