Black cherry and plum lead a concentrated aroma, joined by liquorice, cedar and warm spice. The palate is full and powerful, with ripe Tinta de Toro fruit supported by firm tannins and fresh acidity. Tobacco and dark chocolate add depth, while the finish is long, savoury and warming.

About Numanthia
Bodega Numanthia was founded in 1998 in Valdefinjas within Spain’s Toro appellation, focusing on the local Tinta de Toro grape. Its work draws on old vines distributed across the region, reflecting Toro’s long-established dry-farmed vineyard landscape. LVMH now owns the winery, a current ownership fact kept distinct from the founders and the 1998 establishment date.
The house produces several wines with different vineyard selections and ageing regimes, and each retains its own technical specification. Numanthia remains a Toro estate in Spain centred on Tinta de Toro, old dry-farmed vineyards across the appellation, distinct cuvée selections and present ownership within LVMH.
