Wild strawberry, blackberry and cherry lead this deep salmon-hued rosé, with a discreet thread of spice. Pinot Noir gives breadth and structure while Chardonnay keeps the wine lively, and a portion of Coteaux Champenois red wine deepens the fruit. Rich yet fresh, it closes on morello cherry with a dry, persistent finish.

About Gatinois
In Aÿ, the Gatinois family's Champagne story stretches across twelve generations, beginning with the 1696 marriage of Nicolas Le Cacheur and Françoise Remy. The name came from Charles Gatinois, who married Marie Le Cacheur in 1921. Louis Cheval, trained as a geologist, took charge in 2010 and continues that family line.
Gatinois grows Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in family parcels on the slopes of Aÿ Grand Cru, tending the vines and making the Champagne itself. Vineyard work is predominantly manual, and the cellar uses a traditional vertical press installed in 1984.
