Arnot-Roberts 2018 Gamay Noir El Dorado

$74.99

Sweet red cherry and raspberry lead, with dried herbs, tobacco, liquorice, cedar and pepper adding a savoury edge. The palate is bright, punchy and fleshy, its generous fruit lifted by lively acidity and fine tannins. Serve slightly cool with roast chicken, grilled pork, mushroom dishes or herb-led sausages.

About Arnot-Roberts
Arnot-Roberts was founded in Healdsburg in 2001 by childhood friends Duncan Arnot Meyers and Nathan Lee Roberts, beginning with a single barrel of wine made in a basement. Meyers brought cellar experience from Napa and Sonoma, while Roberts had learned the craft of oak barrels as a cooper. They work with vineyards across Northern California, drawing on old and young vines and a mix of classic and less familiar grape varieties. Single-vineyard wines remain central, joined by a small group of appellation bottlings.
