Silky and mature, opening with black cherry, redcurrant jam, dark chocolate and fresh coffee beans, followed by fennel, ginger and a subtle savoury note. The palate is rounded and composed, layering cherry, pomegranate, dark honey and toffee with nutmeg, clove and soft leather. Gentle tannin and citrus peel keep the richness in check. The finish is medium-long, nutty and warming, with hazelnut, dark honey and polished oak.
