Glengoyne 25 Year Old Sherry Oak

Rich and composed, with red fruit, leather and brown sugar giving way to soft oak and cinnamon. Stewed fruit and Seville orange marmalade bring depth and lift through the palate, while the sherry-cask character remains rounded rather than heavy. The texture is smooth and generous, with spice gradually taking the lead. The finish is exceptionally long, carrying dark fruit, orange peel and a clear note of spicy liquorice.
