Deeply coloured and concentrated, this Uco Valley blend opens with ripe plum, blackberry and warm spice, supported by a cool mineral note. Malbec gives the palate generous fruit and body, while Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot add structure and aromatic detail. Freshness keeps the texture composed, and the finish is long, polished and savoury.

About Cuvelier los Andes
Cuvelier Los Andes joins a French family wine history with a distinctly Argentine estate. Bertrand and Jean-Guy Cuvelier entered Michel Rolland's Clos de los Siete project in 1998, bringing the experience of their Bordeaux properties to Vista Flores in Mendoza's Uco Valley. From the beginning, they placed day-to-day direction with Mendoza winemaker Adrián Manchón; Baptiste and Guillaume Cuvelier have led the next family generation since 2009.
The estate's 55 producing hectares were planted between 1999 and 2006 at roughly 1,000 metres, with Malbec at the centre and Bordeaux varieties around it. Estate fruit is farmed with organic and biodynamic methods, harvested by hand in small crates, then double-sorted and moved into vats by gravity. Its most persuasive inheritance is method rather than imitation: Bordeaux discipline is used to frame Mendoza fruit, altitude and scale on their own terms.
