The palate is concentrated and velvety, with sweet rancio spice and polished oak richness held in check by elegant acidity. A subtle saline-mineral thread keeps the wine energetic, carrying dried fruit and warm spice through a long, resonant finish.

About Villa Oeiras
Villa Oeiras is the municipal wine project preserving the fortified Carcavelos tradition around Oeiras near Lisbon. Urban growth had reduced the historic vineyard area before the Municipality of Oeiras began restoring vines and cellar activity around 2001. The project works from publicly owned vineyards and the Adega do Casal da Manteiga under the Carcavelos denomination.
Traditional white grapes such as Arinto, Galego Dourado and Ratinho contribute to wines aged in wood for differing periods. Municipal ownership makes this a public heritage and production programme rather than a conventional family château. Villa Oeiras continues the Carcavelos tradition from municipal vineyards and the former palace cellar at Oeiras.
