Molasses and a subtle dark-fruit tone add depth, while firm hop bitterness keeps the malt sweetness controlled. The finish is long, complex and warming without losing definition. Serve cool with braised beef, smoked brisket, blue cheese or a dark-chocolate dessert, allowing time in the glass for the flavours to open.
