A sharper line of pine and grassy bitterness follows on the palate, adding definition and keeping the sweeter fruit tones in check. The finish remains pleasantly fruit-like, with tropical and citrus notes lingering behind the resinous edge. Serve well chilled with fried chicken, grilled sausages, spicy pizza or mature cheddar.
