Champagne Laherte Frères 2018 Les Grandes Crayères Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut
$169.99
Chalky mineral tension leads a powerful, deep and structured profile. The palate is bright and poised, with focused citrus, a savoury edge and firm drive through the centre. Barrel fermentation and light lees stirring bring measured texture, while the absence of malolactic fermentation preserves precision and energy on the long finish.

About Laherte Frères
Jean-Baptiste Laherte founded the family estate at Chavot in 1889, beginning a Champagne story now carried by its seventh generation. Aurélien Laherte joined his father Thierry and uncle Christian in 2005. The domaine farms more than 11 hectares spread across roughly 75 parcels in the Coteaux Sud d’Épernay, Côte des Blancs and Vallée de la Marne.
Vineyard work draws on ecological and biodynamic practices, with attention to soil life and massal selection. Parcels are vinified separately, with much of the wine fermented or matured in oak and a light hand with dosage.
