Can Leandro 2023 La Lloma

Monastrell and Bonicaire come from vines between fifty and seventy years old. Bonicaire is partly fermented with stems in clay amphora, while Monastrell goes into five-hundred-litre oak. Maturation lasts about six months. Red fruit, fruit compote, floral and balsamic notes accompany a light profile with a long, fruity finish; black fruit, sweet spice and a mineral note are also present.

About Can Leandro
Can Leandro is a small family winery in Ontinyent, in the inland hills of Valencia, led by brothers Gabriel and Alberto Sanchís. They are restoring local vineyards and working with grape varieties that had nearly disappeared from the area. Their wines range from village and estate bottlings to individual sites and parcels, reflecting a close interest in where the grapes grow.
