Mainland Whisky Kazoo Single Barrel Canadian Whisky

$99.99

Candy apple, warm leather and charred oak lead the nose. The palate is rounded and generous, layering vanilla and cinnamon-bun spice over a sweet corn core, with the wine-seasoned oak adding depth rather than overt fruitiness. Made from Abbotsford corn and British Columbia pale malt, it spends three years in recoopered Okanagan wine barrels charred in house. The finish is long, warming and gently oaked. Serve neat, over a large cube or in a spirit-forward cocktail.

About Mainland Whisky
Steve Watts founded Mainland Whisky as a distillery and lounge in South Surrey. Inspired by American moonshine traditions, he works with both conventional barrel ageing and an experimental process called Time Machine, which uses heat, pressure and sound. Kazoo and Frying Pan, two of the traditionally aged whiskies, are made with British Columbia grain and mature for three years in recoopered Okanagan wine barrels charred at the distillery.
