About Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars
Warren Winiarski founded Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars in 1970 after tasting Cabernet from Nathan Fay’s vineyard. Its 1973 SLV Cabernet Sauvignon finished first among the red wines at the Paris tasting held in 1976.
Wines from the neighbouring SLV and FAY Cabernet vineyards are bottled separately and blended in CASK 23. ARTEMIS combines fruit from across Napa Valley with an estate-grown component.
