The official brewery describes present but sweet bitterness integrated with malty structure and notes that special malts bring a chocolate dimension. About Brasserie St-Feuillien
Stéphanie Friart founded Brasserie St-Feuillien in Le Roeulx, Belgium, in 1873. It remains a Friart family business, with Benoît and Dominique joined by fifth-generation Ann Friart.
The brewery maintains its own strain of ale yeast. Cold maturation follows the first fermentation; bottled beers then receive fresh yeast and sugar for a second fermentation in the bottle.
