Deep garnet colour frames aromas of blackcurrant, black cherry and blueberry. Blackcurrant and black cherry return among the vibrant flavours, alongside tobacco and cedar. The profile is concentrated, with light floral character, ripe black fruit, lower acidity, soft tannins and a medium-plus silky body. It is off-dry, carries 14.9 percent alcohol and comes from the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia. The finish is satisfying.

About Bordertown
Mohan Gill and his family opened Bordertown Vineyards and Estate Winery in Osoyoos in May 2015 after more than two decades growing fruit in the Okanagan. The family farms more than 200 acres across Osoyoos, Peachland and West Kelowna, making its wines from fruit grown on its own land.
The red, white and rosé range includes Petit Verdot and Grüner Veltliner bottlings. Hard Pressed cider comes from heritage apples in the family’s Osoyoos orchards.
