Cinsault, Mourvedre and Grenache from schist soils give the wine both fruit clarity and a lightly savoury frame. Direct pressing and cool fermentation preserve freshness, while short tank ageing keeps the texture clean and supple. It finishes lively and mouth-filling, with red berries, gentle caramel and a clean, refreshing close.

About Château La Liquière
On the schist hills of Faugères, Château La Liquière began its modern chapter when Bernard Vidal bottled his own wine in 1961. Two branches of the family domaine reunited during the 1980s, bringing their vineyards back under one estate. Today Sophie and François Vidal work alongside Laurent Dumoulin. The estate has farmed organically since 2009.
