Deeply sherried and distinctly savoury, with dried fruit, dark chocolate and old wood set against a pronounced mineral, struck-match note. The palate is oily and dense, moving through cooked fruit, vanilla and toasted malt before a firmer, earthier edge takes hold. Citrus brings a useful lift through the centre. The finish is dry, leathery and lingering, with smoke and seasoned oak.
