Wild black fruit leads, edged by garrigue, black pepper and vanilla. A blend of five varieties from twelve vineyard blocks gives the palate density and scale, while careful tannin management keeps the texture silky and composed rather than hard. Richly structured yet notably balanced, it has the depth to cellar and enough polish to enjoy now.

About Laughing Stock Vineyards
David and Cynthia Enns left careers in finance to buy a vineyard on the Naramata Bench and establish Laughing Stock Vineyards in 2003. Their former careers inspired the financial references in the wine names and labels. Arterra Wines Canada acquired the winery in 2017.
Sandy Leier has led the winemaking team since 2022, with a focus on small-lot experimentation. The cellar uses double sorting and a mix of stainless steel, concrete eggs, clay amphorae and French oak.
