Ile Sauvage Raspberry Sour 4-Pack

$23.99

This fruited sour is fermented with a house mixed culture of Lactobacillus and Saccharomyces strains, then aged on large quantities of British Columbia-grown red berries. The exact-product record lists five-point-five per cent alcohol and identifies the beer as crafted in British Columbia. The retained account documents mixed-culture fermentation, sour character and red-berry fruit from the ageing addition.

About Île Sauvage Brewing Company
Île Sauvage means “Wild Island”, a name that brings together Vancouver Island and this Victoria brewery’s interest in Belgian-inspired wild and sour beer. Different yeasts and bacteria shape its fermentations, and some beers undergo a second fermentation with fruit. Its work in stainless steel and oak ranges from kettle-soured beers to longer-aged sour blends.
