Candied peach and prune lead an expressive nose, followed by jasmine, iris and warm baking spice. The palate is smooth and enveloping, with chocolate and vanilla layered over mature wood and a gently nutty rancio character. Fruit remains present through the centre, keeping the richness balanced rather than heavy. The finish is long, polished and warming, carrying dried fruit, spice and seasoned oak. Serve neat in a generous glass.
