About Powell Brewery
David Bowkett and Nicole Stefanopoulos opened Powell Street Craft Brewery as a Vancouver nanobrewery in December 2012. Within months, Old Jalopy Pale Ale was named Beer of the Year at the 2013 Canadian Brewing Awards. Demand led to a larger Powell Street facility and public tasting room in 2014.
The range includes pale and dark ales, IPAs, lagers and seasonal releases. Old Jalopy combines an English-ale base with Northwest Coast hop character.
