American bourbon provides a warm, rounded foundation, lifted by real orange and lemon juices. Seville orange bitters sharpen the citrus and add a gently bitter aromatic edge, while cane sugar brings the sweet-and-sour elements into balance. The palate is vibrant and refreshing, with enough whisky character to remain composed through the finish. Serve thoroughly chilled or over ice with an orange slice, ideally alongside smoked meats, fried chicken or salty snacks.
