Robin Ridge 2018 Collage Meritage

Clove-spiced stewed cherries, mulberry and prune lead, joined by dried violet and vanilla. The palate is firmly structured, with dark fruit moving into roast mushroom, leather and a savoury pastry-crust note. Paprika and earth bring warmth through the centre, while the tannins remain purposeful. Layered and mature, it finishes long with spice, leather and an earthy, rustic edge.

About Robin Ridge
Tim and Caroline Cottrill run Robin Ridge as a family winery near Keremeos in British Columbia’s Similkameen Valley. Their eighteen-acre vineyard has well-drained gravelly loam, dry, sunny days and cool nights. The vines are trained on a Geneva Double Curtain system, which spreads the canopy to manage light and airflow. The family makes aromatic whites and Chardonnay as well as Pinot Noir, Gamay and Bordeaux-style blends.
