Red and black fruit lead with a light smoky, cedar-toned edge. The palate is full and structured but polished, with rounded tannins, fresh fruit and a long, balanced finish. Château Réaut is built from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, then matured in French oak to bring the blend together. Serve with roast beef, lamb or firm cheeses.

About Château Réaut
Château Réaut stands at Rions in the Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, overlooking the Garonne on the river's right bank. In 2011, a group of friends from Bordeaux and Burgundy acquired the property and opened ownership to a wider community of wine lovers.
About twenty-six hectares of vines occupy clay-limestone slopes and a gravel terrace. Merlot leads the planting, alongside Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The grapes are picked by hand, and the wines generally spend sixteen to eighteen months in French oak.
