Coconut, cherry and oak open the profile, folding into the base stout’s roast malt, coffee and chocolate. Bourbon-barrel ageing rounds the beer’s harder edges and brings added complexity without losing the dark malt core. The texture is broad and smooth, with fruit, oak and roast staying closely knit through the finish. Serve lightly chilled with braised beef, blue cheese, chocolate tart or roasted nuts.
