On the palate, Coquard Fleurie is light-bodied and elegant, with soft, silky tannin that provide structure without overwhelming the senses. The dominant flavors mirror the aromas, with bright red fruit notes taking center stage. Juicy raspberry, cherry, and cranberry flavors dance across the palate, accompanied by floral undertones that add depth and complexity. There’s a refreshing acidity that balances the fruitiness, lending the wine a lively and refreshing character. Aromas of crushed pomegranate, orange zest, red tea, and wafts of vanilla. It’s medium-bodied with tight, fine-grained tannins. Layered and flavorful. Drink or hold for up to ten years.
