A delicate Volnay with bright ruby colour and aromas of violet, redcurrant and cherry. The palate is concentrated yet nuanced, allowing the fruit and floral character to stay clear while subtle savoury complexity begins to emerge. With time it can develop notes of spice, game and cooked plum; serve with duck, roast poultry, mushrooms or salmon.

Broad and inviting on the nose, with layered red fruit and a subtle mineral undertone. The palate is rounded yet finely structured, combining generous fruit with a cool, steely line and mouth-watering freshness. Firm but polished tannins frame the wine, leading to a powerful, composed finish without hard edges.
Pierrick Bouley 2018 Volnay 1er Cru Santenots
Deeply coloured, with lifted high tones and striking aromatic intensity. The palate is broad and structured, its fine-grained tannins adding shape with almost no dryness. Layered, mobile fruit brings energy and dimension, while a slightly cushioned texture softens the wine's fresh lines. Powerful yet poised, with an excellent, persistent finish.
