Light fruit and a thread of liquorice lead into crumbly vanilla fudge. The palate is creamy and composed, with peaches, biscuit and almond carried by a supple malt texture. Bourbon and sherry cask maturation adds sweetness and restrained oak rather than weight. The finish is long and clean, leaving vanilla, orchard fruit, toasted almond and a dry oak echo.
