A rounded Bordeaux blend with generous red fruit, pepper and licorice on the nose. The palate is balanced and supple, with the Cabernets adding shape and freshness while stewed fruit and chocolate deepen the finish. Smooth enough for a broad range of meals, it is especially comfortable with roast beef, burgers, mushrooms or firm cheese.
Laronde 2014 Bordeaux Superieur
A mature Bordeaux blend with dried dark fruit, cedar and leather, shaped by dusty tannins and firm acidity. The palate is dry and savoury, showing restrained fruit and a graphite-like mineral line rather than overt richness. Clean and composed on the finish, it is well suited to roast beef, lamb, mushrooms or other quietly earthy dishes.
